What is PTO?
Parent Teacher Organization of Guin Foss consists of a collaboration between parents volunteers and teachers to provide resources for educational programs and events, performing arts, and athletics that are NOT covered by the State or TUSD. We strive to improve communication between teachers, parents, and students to make a better united Guin Foss community.
Why join PTO?
Get connected: Meet other parents, build relationship with the teachers and staff
Get Involved: By getting involved you’ll be supporting your children by being part of the solution to make changes happen.
Be Heard: Voice new ideas and suggestions to make the organization make positive changes. You also have voting rights!
Provide Support: Support your children through volunteer opportunities or contribute financially to create programs available and enhance your child’s education and school experience.

Do I need to be a member to volunteer?
No, we welcome the entire Guin Foss community to support our students by volunteering. Afterall, volunteers are what help make our school awesome! We simply cannot do it all without you! The who, what, when and where of PTO meetings?
PTO meetings are held monthly after Friday Flag at the MPR. All members of the Guin Foss community are welcome. You do not need to be a member to go. We review agenda items such as upcoming events, budgets, and announcements from the school. As a member you invoke your right to cast your vote!
